The Hercules Pillars is a pub just outside of Soho, in Holborn.  I sat down with the manager, Joseph Burnett, yesterday to have a chat about running a pub in Central London, as well as the future of Soho.

Soho Estates are in charge of re-developing parts of Soho, including Madame Jojo’s. Chairman of the company is former conservative MP Steve Norris. The director is Fawn James, who is the granddaughter of Soho legend Paul Raymond. I had a chat with them about their plans for the future of Soho.

A Conversation With Marcus Harris, Promoter and DJ at White Heat

For over ten years, White Heat played host to the likes of Lorde, Sky Ferreira and Disclosure in Soho’s Madame Jojo’s. The venue was controversially closed at the end of 2014, after having it’s licensed revoked. I sat down with White Heat promoter and DJ Marcus Harris, to talk about the closure, White Heat and the future of Soho.

A Natter With Tim Arnold, aka The Soho Hobo

Tim Arnold is a musician who was born in Soho. His mother, Polly Perkins, was a cabaret performer. After releasing music under his own name, Tim is working on a concept album about Soho under the name The Soho Hobo. I had a chat with him about his music, as well as his part in the ‘Save Soho’ campaign.
